Clayton Hill Outfitters is a ma and pa operation on 400 acres loaded with deer and turkey. It is not uncommon to see 25-30 deer feeding in the fields in the evening. Turkeys are seen daily, and it's nothing to see up to 50 at a time. We have plenty of quail, too.

Last season, we had our first paying hunters, and they walked away with some great whitetail and turkeys!

All cropland has a 30' strip next to the timbers of clover and grasses. CRP ground is alfalfa, clover and big bluestem and prairie grass. A dozen deer and turkey food plots are scattered throughout the farm. Over one mile of creek bottoms surrounded by hills and large oaks make up the rest of our place.

We're located in the hills of Cass County overlooking the Illinois River bottom. Just south of Illinois Route 125, we're 4.5 miles east of Beardstown or 6.5 miles west of Virginia. There are two motels in Beardstown, however our prices include use of our cabin. It's 16 x 32, fully furnished with upstair, large front porch, LP generator, cookstove and heat. This place is very secluded.

I'll have ground blinds for turkey hunts and stands for deer hunts or you may bring your own if you like. We'll acceot 3 hunters for turkey and 4 for deer hunts. Payment will be half down 10 days after booking with the balance due 30 days before the hunt. We accept Credit Cards on our website or checks. You can scout our place out anytime you want. Just call ahead.
